The Corporate Entrepreneurship Graduate Certificate program at Webster University instructs students in how to use current business resources and new innovations to work as successful entrepreneurs in their field.
The Corporate Entrepreneurship GRCT guides aspiring business leaders through a curriculum centered on launching new business ventures that are distinct, and leverage existing company assets, market position, capabilities and human resources. Students will learn about innovations in services and intellectual property models, as well as entrepreneurial finance and venture capital.
Students pursuing this Entrepreneurship certificate will focus on more than just product development; they will study the theoretical, technological and financial skills required to take their ideas from mind to market. Students will explore how to:
- Maximize existing resources
- Use innovation to act as an entrepreneur within a corporate environment
- Understand and interpret intellectual property models and brands
- Launch and nurture a successful new venture that is distinct from a company’s existing offerings
- Budget and calculate initiatives to account for present company assets, market positions, human resources and other essential success factors
- Create value that aligns with the organization's vision and mission
