McInnis and Family

Meet Rachel McInnis, who earned a bachelor's degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications in 2006 and currently works for Maritz.

"In my professional life, we often reference a truth in behavioral science: people are rational and emotional, but mostly emotional. Rationally, I appreciated that scholarships put a private school like Webster within reach for me. But emotionally, I felt drawn to the intimate, artistic vibe I experienced during my campus tour and I was excited about the possibility to study abroad."

John Daze, MA ’12, MS ’19, found a military-friendly school in Webster University after departing active service. Through conversations with several veteran friends, Daze learned that Webster’s staff and curriculum were instrumental to their professional successes. Ultimately, this solidified his decision to enroll at the Los Angeles Air Force Base campus.

Daze earned his first master’s degree in Business and Organizational Security Management in 2012 and his second in Cybersecurity in 2019.

Meet Rodney Humphries, who earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Webster Groves campus in 2019 and currently works for United Way of Greater St. Louis.

"Before I became a student at Webster, I had the opportunity to take a tour of the campus, and it was love at first sight. It’s a smaller campus, so it’s a little easier to navigate. I got to meet some of the staff and faculty during my first visit and they were all very warm and welcoming. I learned about the breadth of resources available to students in and out of the classroom. After that experience, and then immersing myself more into Webster University’s culture, I was all in. I knew I wanted to be a Gorlok."
