"While my degree in Theater Arts was the foundation for an over a decade-long career in stage management and arts administration, my work-study experience in Webster University's computer labs was pivotal. David Washington

Meet David Washington who earned a Master of Business Administration from Webster in 2002 and currently works as an entrepreneur and author.

"As an entrepreneur, I have been able to engage in projects that otherwise would not be accessible via a traditional career. For example, I wrote a graphic novel titled, Black Defender: The Awakening. This project stemmed from a desire to provide more diversity in the comic book/action hero space. The book has garnered acclaim as a nominee for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Works, and Publishers Weekly’s BookLife named the book as “Graphic Novel of the Year."

"I served as a leader as the creative director for the team of AdMarCom seniors who competed in the National Student Advertising Competition.
