We designed our latest program, BS in Chemistry, to provide students a thorough grounding in the important areas of modern chemistry. The program includes significant laboratory work, giving you the applied skills necessary to succeed in a chemical career. Once completed, you'll be qualified to work in industrial, government, academic labs or other careers enhanced by a chemistry degree.
Undergraduate Majors and Minors
Webster University provides a variety of programs and courses designed to meet the needs of the Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Medicine and Pre-Veterinary student. Most dental and medical schools accept a BA or BS in any field of study, but require specific courses in biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics.
Webster University offers cooperative engineering programs in partnership with Washington University, and Missouri University of Science and Technology. The program with Washington University is a 3+3 program, which leads to a bachelor’s degree from Webster, and both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in engineering from Washington University. The program with Missouri University of Science and Technology is a 3+2 program, which leads to a bachelor’s degree from Webster and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Both programs combine high-quality professional engineering education with a strong background in the humanities, mathematics and the natural and social sciences.
Participation in these programs require students to complete at least 90 credit hours at Webster, which must include the requirements for the Webster University Global Citizenship Program, the requirements for the student's chosen undergraduate major at Webster, and any prerequisites required by the student's chosen partner school.
Upon completion of these requirements, students apply for the engineering program at the school of their choosing, typically during the winter of their junior year.
Students should check with their desired school for admission requirements. The engineering degrees offered from Washington University and Missouri University are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology Inc. (ABET). For more information on the Pre-Engineering partnerships with Missouri University of Science and Technology, please contact the Webster University Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at natscim@webster.edu.
