This 21-credit hour minor allows you to explore your creativity and artistic expression. First, gain a foundational understanding of art history by choosing a course that suits your interest in the evolution of art. Then, select 18 credits from a wide range of studio art courses, exploring different mediums and techniques like drawing, painting, sculpture or digital art. This minor will help develop your artistic skills and a creative portfolio.

This 21-credit hour minor allows you to dive deep into the world of art, exploring its history, movements and cultural impact across different eras and regions. You'll choose 18 credits from a range of art history courses, studying everything from ancient civilizations to modern masterpieces. You will also select 3 credits from studio art courses, gaining hands-on experience in artistic creation. This minor is perfect for developing a strong understanding of visual culture and its historical context.

This 21-credit hour minor provides a strong foundation in dance, teaching you various styles and artistic expression. You'll learn ballet, modern and jazz basics, explore improvisation and study dance composition. You'll also get extensive hands-on training in at least two genres like ballet, modern, jazz or tap, developing your technical skills and understanding dance as an art form.

This 18-credit hour minor teaches you the core principles and technical skills needed to create compelling visual designs. You'll develop your ideas through drawing, learn fundamental design concepts and master digital visualization tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. With additional elective choices, you can explore specialized areas like typography, 3D design, UX/UI, digital portfolio creation or the history and theory of graphic design, preparing you to analyze and create impactful visual communication.

You'll develop a broad understanding through music theory and aural skills, learning how different elements combine to create meaning. You'll also choose from courses exploring music history or popular styles. You will also get hands-on experience through applied lessons and participation in a performance ensemble. You can even study abroad at our campus in Vienna, one of the oldest music capitals in the world.
