Take advantage of Webster University’s Certificate in Motion Graphic Design, a unique career field that combines design, film, animation and typography techniques to create graphics for use in television, film, interactive experiences and real-world environments.
The unique, hybrid nature of motion graphic design allows students to develop their artistic and communication skills to use in work on media projects that call for something extra. Students will learn to:
- Utilize industry standard software, techniques and workflows.
- Demonstrate a creative individual voice.
- Create design concepts and use professional-grade software to bring it to life.
- Build a foundation for motion graphic art.
- Produce motion graphics for audiences of all types.
Throughout the curriculum, you will develop foundational skills for motion graphic design that will serve as building blocks for further study into graphics, visual effects and even storytelling. Our course sequence is designed to help give you the skills to create professional quality motion graphic designs, but also enable you with the practice and knowledge to work within a team to create meaningful media that translates an intended message.
