Take it to the Next Level

A sequential orchestra program ushers young musicians through multiple levels, enhancing students' skills beyond individual performance and supporting the education process in school music programs. Ensembles and other special group programs give students opportunities to advance their skills collaboratively in smaller groups.

String Ensemble, String Orchestra, YPCO, YPSO, YPOP. Auditions are required.

Chamber Music Programs

With a summer session for individual lessons and fun summer camp programs, the music never stops at CMS. The Young Composers Competition shines the spotlight on the future of classical music accepting submissions from young composers around the world.

Summer Programs

There’s no summer slump at the CMS. In addition to a summer session of lessons, CMS has multiple camps and workshops during the summer to explore new skills and make great friends!

Young Composers Competition

Since 2004, the Young Composers Competition has recognized and encouraged the efforts of those between the ages of 12-21 who are involved in the process of creating music.
