AmeriCorps Matching Program

Under the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award Matching Program, AmeriCorps members are eligible to receive up to $6,345 toward their education from AmeriCorps. Webster University will match that award at $150 per credit hour, at a maximum lifetime cap of $5,400. The match can be applied to qualified programs taught online or at any Webster University location.

The award will be applied for students earning any master's-level degree (except MS in Nurse Anesthesia).

Initial Eligibility, Verification, and Payment Process

  1. New and current students must first apply with the AmeriCorps Corporation to use their AmeriCorps Benefits for their Webster University attendance. Students need to use their "My AmeriCorps Portal" to apply, which allows their AmeriCorps award to be sent to Webster University.
  2. AmeriCorps will pay student's approved award amounts to Webster University who will apply it directly to the student's Webster University Student Account in two equal installments based on their award's enrollment period.
  3. Webster University's AmeriCorps Matching Program awards $150 per credit hour that will be paid to student's Webster University Student Account. Webster University's cumulative AmeriCorps Matching award amount cannot exceed in total $5,400.
  4. Webster University's AmeriCorps Matching awards cannot be applied retroactively to courses taken in the past.
