The multicultural studies program offers a certificate in diversity and identity in the U.S. which provides students from all disciplines the opportunity to develop an academic concentration in areas of study related to diversity and difference.
This certificate program is a flexible, interdisciplinary course of study enabling undergraduate students to approach crucial questions and topics about diverse identities and communities composing contemporary American society from the perspectives of the social and behavioral sciences, the humanities, and legal studies. Diversity is not only a vital area of scholarship; knowledge and skills around diversity are increasingly valued in criminal justice, public health, counseling, human resources, business, and marketing, among other fields.
