    The groups listed below are recognized by the Student Government Association (SGA), the representative body of Webster students.

    African Student Association (ASA)

    ASA serves as a platform to discuss African issues and sharing different cultures. It also will help everyone learn about the continent and support African students.


    Alpha Lamda Pi (Accounting Club)

    The purpose of the Accounting Club is to provide students with activities and contacts to enhance the accounting student's professional development.


    American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA)

    AIGA is here to allow students an opportunity to make professional contacts and gain professional experience in production and design in the fields of graphic arts.


    Amnesty International

    The purpose of Amnesty International is to educate others about human rights and human rights violations.


    Anime Society (Web site)

    The Anime Society archives and preserves anime and manga for future generations to enjoy.


    Aquatics Club

    This group promote activities and support students who are interested in aquatic activities.


    Association for African American Collegians (AAAC)

    The Association for African American Collegians serves as a support and programming group for African-American interests at Webster.


    Audio Engineering Society(AES) (Web site)

    The purpose of the AES is to increase of educational and scientific knowledge in audio engineering, the promotion and advancement of this science and its allied arts in both theoretical and practical applications.


    Behavioral and Social Science Club (BASS)

    BASS exists to promote a meeting ground for all students interested in psychology, anthropology and sociology to share ideas and information.


    Campus Activities

    Campus Activities is a part of the University Center that strives to create more active campus programs. They work together to create and coordinate a diverse range of social, educational and recreational programs throughout the year for all students of Webster University.


    Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU)

    CRU exists to provide regular opportunities to study and discuss the bible, worship, and pray, all in a group setting. This provides opportunities for fellowship, encouragement and spiritual growth among members.


    Chain Link Theatre and Improv

    Provides a place for those interested in theatre and improve to explore self-expression through this medium.


    Cheerleaders

    A squad of young men and women who uplift the spirit of fans and athletes of Webster sports and activities.


    Chinese Student Association (CSA)

    Assists all Chinese students with issues related to adaptation to the US.


    College Republicans

    Provide students opportunities to develop leadership abilities, learn how to respond to social situations and assume responsibility, and make a constructive contribution to the Webster community and the Republican Party.


    Computer Club

    The Webster University Computer Club is for Computer Science students to meet and associate with other students that are seeking similar graduate degrees.


    Dance Club

    This club informs students interested in dance of upcoming events, such as professional company performances, The American Dance Festival, etc.


    Danceline

    The purpose of Danceline is to promote school spirit and to create and perform jazz and hip-hop dances inspired dances at boys and girls basketball games.


    Delta Phi Epsilon Colony

    D Phi E is a women’s sorority whose motto is “To be rather than to seem to be,” concentrating on Self, Scholarship, Sisterhood, Social, and Service. This group is seeking to become a chapter of the international organization.


    Delta Upsilon

    DU is a fraternal organization whose mission is to Develop academic minds while building a society consisting of brotherhood, loyalty and life-long skills. Any male student at Webster University is allowed to pledge.


    Forensics and Debate

    A competitive team that provides opportunities for students of all levels ranging from the four year high school competitor and national qualifier to the public speaking student interested in further speaking opportunities.


    Gorlok Green Thumbs

    The Gardening Club takes care of the organic garden near Pearson House and provides a learning community for gardeners of all skill levels.


    The Galaxy

    We provide students an opportunity to experience community radio broadcasting by actively participating in management positions and as on-air talent in various formats which include a cultural, entertaining, and educational exchange.


    Gorlok Television (GTV)

    GTV is a student-run and-maintained closed circuit television station, which is available in the residence halls, apartments, and common areas on campus.


    Gorlok Ultimate

    The purpose of this club is to play Ultimate in a recreational environment including all those who wish to participate.


    Habitat for Humanity

    Habitat for Humanity provides Webster University students with the opportunity to contribute to the development of housing facilities for the underprivileged.


    I (Heart) Makeup

    We teach members different make-up techniques, bring together people through use of make-up and help less fortunate girls prepare for their high school proms.


    International Student Association (ISA)

    ISA unites students from different backgrounds, acknowledges similar and different cultural aspects, and helps international students adjust to college.


    Japanese Student Association (JSA)

    JSA introduces the Japanese culture to Webster and promotes better understanding among American and international students.


    The Journal

    The Journal is Webster's award-winning weekly student newspaper.


    Latent Image

    Latent Image, the photo club, is for students interested in expanding their knowledge of creativity and craft. It provides a forum for ideas not fully explored by formal classes.


    Latin American Student Organization (LASO)

    LASO assists Latin American students spreading their culture and fitting into American traditions through the interaction with the community.


    Marketing Communications Club (MCC) (Web site)

    MCC acts as a bridge between college and the professional world. Students develop leadership skills by organizing events, attending conferences, and networking with advertising professionals.


    Math Club

    Also known as e-to-the-2-pi-I, this club strengthens the Math department, builds relationships between students, and increases interest in the math field.


    MENC

    MENC enables students to gain an understanding of truths and principles of music�s role in human life, the philosophy and function of music education, and the music industry�s role in support of music education.


    Men's Volleyball Club

    Organizes men who have interest in volleyball in order to compete amongst each other and against other club teams.


    National Residence Hall Honorary

    National Residence Hall Honorary is a group to recognize outstanding on campus residents who have exhibited exceptional service and valuable leadership in advancement of the campus housing. Membership is restricted to inductees.


    One Webster

    A group of students who share the belief that with a US commitment to debt relief, fair trade, gender equality, health care and economic development, our generation will see the end to global AIDS and extreme poverty. They are a branch of the national ONE campaign.


    Philosophy Club

    We provide students with an extra-curricular outlet for discussion of philosophical topics, to assist philosophy students, and provide a social outlet for all.


    Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)

    Promotes understanding of current theories and procedures of the public relations profession and appreciation of the highest ethical ideals and principles of an appropriate professional attitude.


    Red Cross

    The Webster Chapter of the American Red Cross helps expose students to the workings of this organization through its various projects.


    Residential Housing Association (RHA) (Web site)

    The RHA consists of members of the residence halls and apartments who are willing to take on the responsibility of improving their living environment.


    Socceroos

    We enhance sportsmanship through soccer in a free environment, educate students and form leaders in a safe and competitive atmosphere, and form bonds that unite people and cultures through soccer.


    Society of International Languages & Cultures (SILC)

    SILC presents social and cultural activities related to the foreign languages offered at Webster University.


    SoJus

    SoJus incorporates social theory and action to promote justice through grassroots activism focusing on interpersonal connections among community members and generating publicity around current social issues.


    Student Alumni Association

    Promotes interaction between students and alumni and encourages students to think ahead to become involved alumni after graduation.


    Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

    SAAC exists to bring representatives together from each athletic team with an advisor to talk about issues. SAAC also works to increase fan support at games.


    Student Education Association

    The Education Association promotes options for careers in education and helps education majors interact with one another inside and outside the classroom.


    Student Government Association (SGA) (Web site)

    SGA is the student governing body, representing student concerns on many issues. SGA also provides funding for registered student organizations.


    Students for Gender Equality

    This student group raises awareness of gender issues on campus and actively supports organizations that support equal rights.


    Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) (Web site)

    SIFE's goal is to educate, inform and excel; to encourage successful projects to compete with other universities on a national and international level.


    Surfacing

    Surfacing is the Emerging Playwrights Festival, providing a theatre outlet for all students, including the writing, acting, and production of a play.


    Sustainability Initiative

    We promote awareness of sustainability issues at Webster and in the surrounding community, as well as promoting sustainable living.


    Video Game Club

    We bring together a fragmented group of students into one location to discuss and enjoy one of the most popular hobbies.


    Webster Film and Video Society

    Draws students together to view films and discuss technical and esthetic aspects of the films with peers. WFVS will also provide the means to find others who are willing to assist on film and video projects as well as maintain a list of willing actors and crew members.


    Webster LGBTQ Alliance

    The Alliance provides support for gay, lesbian, and bisexual students. It is open to all campus members who support equal rights for gays and lesbians in the community.


    Webster Pagan Grove

    This organization celebrates spirituality all over the world, helping people to improve themselves and respect the world around them.


    WebsterLEADS (Web site)

    WebsterLEADS provides students with the knowledge, education, and skills to assume leadership on campus, in society, and in the global work force.


    Webster SIGGRAPH

    Siggraph promotes an increased knowledge of and greater interest in the science, design, development, construction, languages, management and applications of modern computing.


    Women in Media

    WIM is here to promote and network through the School of Communications for both women and men. WIM educates regarding women and history.

    We unite and impassion students with common interest of zombie film culture with organized events and discussion.
