Introduction

As of Fall 2007, Webster University has upgraded its online learning platform to Blackboard's Vista Enterprise System 4.1 (BbVista). We've created a quickstart guide to help students and faculty with the transition to the new learning environment. We highly recommend that every user carefully review this guide before contacting the help desk with any questions.

We've broken the quick start guide into 5 sections:

   Ensure you're computer is ready for the BbVista and addresses a few temporary bugs.

   Suggestions for default settings in your BbVista profile.

   View a collection of tutorials on particular tools along with advice on plugins and software to enhance your online learning experience.
