    Tubular Bells, Sleigh Bells and More: A concert by the Webster University Wind Ensemble

    What/Who:

    The Webster University Wind Ensemble performs an eclectic concert featuring selections for the entire group as well as compositions for the individual sections. 

    Colton Lytle, a Webster University percussion major, has arranged Tubular Bells (1973) by Michael Oldfield for the Percussion Ensemble. Bells will also be present in Troika (a three-horse drawn sleigh) movement from Lieutenant Kijé (1933) by Sergei Prokofiev.

    Saxophone Ensemble:

    Chamber Winds:

    Eric Ring, director

    Telemann Sonata in C: Adagio and Allegro, TWV 43:C

    When: Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, 7 p.m.

    Where: Community Music School of Webster University, 535 Garden Ave.

    Cost: $3 at the door, students free with valid identification
