ST. LOUIS, March 12, 2013 – Military Times magazine has just released its first Best for Vets: Business Schools survey rankings,
and Webster’s Walker School of Business scored admirably, coming in seventh among
62 business schools across the country.
To create the rankings, Military Times looked at academic support, student services and campus culture at the schools, as
well as measures of academic success and selectivity. In particular, Webster scored
very high (3-1/2 stars out of four) for the staff members dedicated to veterans’ issues
in the business school and the full university, including how much time they spend
on veteran-specific work and other factors.
Overall, 32 percent of Walker School students were either active military or on military
benefits during the fall 2012 semester.
