Lewis: I'm so grateful. I appreciate this so much. I never gave 100%, I gave 2,000. I am an entertainer. My success is I have a smile on my face. Show business. I gave up many times, but I didn't quit. And let me say to the kids out there - never quit. Dream, dream, dream the dream.

[Footage of Lewis giving commencement speech at Webster University in 2015 at The Muny outdoor theatre in Forest Park, St. Louis. Footage switches to Webster Groves campus landscaping with a Webster University sign, then to the East Academic Building and then an ariel view of the campus.]

Stroble: She really cares about the success of humanity, whether it's aids or health issues or poverty or racism. All those topics she has used her voice to amplify what we need to pay attention to.

[Footage of Lewis laying on the ground by her star and holding her plaque in Los Angeles.]

Stroble: This is such a well-deserved star. She is at the top of her career, and she has taken the stairs right to the very top. We are so proud.

Newscaster: Lewis received the coveted star for her illustrious career and television. She attributes her success to her St. Louis roots, specifically, her hometown of Kinloch.

[Lewis speaks from a hotel room.]

Lewis: I did my first talent show in Kinloch in the Catholic school basement. The whole town showed up, and I knew I was loved.

Newscaster: And we'll have more on Lewis' advocacy tonight on Fox 2 News at 10.

Second Fox 2 News newscaster: What memories.

Newscaster: Oh, I know.

Second newscaster: Going back to Kinloch.

Newscaster: She is so excited. Just over the moon. And as she said just grateful, and she thanks the St. Louis community, her family and friends and Kinloch. She is just so humble.
