In addition to the state-of-the-art facilities in Emerson Library on Webster's St. Louis campus that make research and study easy for all faculty, staff, and students, the Faculty Development Center suite in Room 420 provides faculty with a private space for working and meeting with other faculty. The bright, spacious suite has tables for work, general and special purpose technology stations (see descriptions below), couches and chairs arranged to suit individual and team work.
The center is also home to a large balcony overlooking the university's quadrangle. The balcony offers faculty a unique space to work, with patio furniture that can be arranged as needed and power outlets. The suite is available to ALL Webster faculty, and is open any time the Emerson Library is open. Card-key access is required to gain entry on evenings and weekends. University ID cards can be activated by visiting the Office of Public Safety.
