About Ormond has been with Webster since 1999. Previously ,she taught Film Production for four years as an international lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore and as an adjunct professor at San Francisco State University.
Ormond received the departmental teaching award at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and the Media Association Faculty Award at Webster University.
Prior to teaching, Ormond worked professionally as a motion picture audio engineer in San Francisco and continues to work as an independent filmmaker. Ormond's films have been broadcast, screened and received numerous awards from film festivals both in the United States and abroad; and have been picked up for distribution.
