"Power ... must not be sought in the existence of a central point,
in a unique source of sovereignty ... power is everywhere,
not because it embraces everything,
but because it comes from everywhere.

Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club endeavors to make the pleasures of the discipline of philosophy available to the general student body through club-sponsored events.

The Club publishes a journal, Sophia, in which students can present their work. We also meet regularly to discuss philosophical ideas, watch films, eat dinner, and plan events. This year's event is a large undergraduate philosophy conference with key note speaker Dr. Tina Chanter from Depaul University.

All are welcome!

For more information, contact the group's advisor: Don Morse at dmorse@webster.edu or 314-961-2660 Ext. 7737
