Flute Camp
COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL
Flutists! Improve your skills with daily classes in a flute ensemble setting. Classes will cover warm-up exercises, tone, intonation and breathing exercises, and will conclude with a performance at the end of the week. This flute camp, facilitated by long-time faculty member Carolyn Hoyer, is designed to address individual strengths and challenges. Ms. Hoyer is a member of the Gateway Festival Orchestra and continues her studies with Dr. Mary Karen Clardy (University of North Texas).
Grades: Students entering grades 7-12 in Fall 2013
Dates: June 10-14, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. Monday-Friday
Performance: Friday, June 14 at 4 p.m.
Tuition: $100 (includes t-shirt)
