Accessibility Information for Graduates and Guests
The Commencement Ceremony will be held at The Muny in Forest Park on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Special Accommodation Requests
Graduates should indicate any special accommodations for themselves and their guests on the RSVP card. Graduates should complete and submit RSVP card via email to the Registrar's Office by April 4, 2014. If you have questions regarding special accommodations needed for the commencement ceremonies, contact Kevin Pelzel at firstname.lastname@example.org or 314-246-7700.
Parking for individuals with disabilities will be available on the Upper and Lower Muny Lots. Cars must have the proper disabled parking permit tag to park in these areas.
Graduates/Guests with difficulty walking
Graduates or guests anticipating difficulty walking the distance from the parking lots or up and down the sloped walkways at the Muny should bring a wheelchair. The Muny does not rent wheelchairs.
Accessibility – Main Stage
Special seating for guests using wheelchairs is available in various areas of the Muny. Please note, seating is available for a guest in a wheelchair and one additional guest. Accessible seating areas are indicated on the accessibility map.
American Sign Language Interpreters will be visible on both sides of the main stage. Seating for guests with hearing impairments will be located in section A3 and is indicated on the accessibility map.
Accessible restrooms, diaper changing areas, bookstore, and information booths are identified on the map.
Accessibility – West Pavilion, Theater Drive Stage, Upper Parking Lot Stage
Seating for guest with hearing impairments will be designated on the accessibility map for the individual Schools/Colleges.
