Information Technology


Information Technology (IT) provides a wide range of services and support to enhance the learning experience for all Webster campuses worldwide. Each IT department plays an important role in Webster's success. We are committed to the continual advancement necessary to support Webster's mission and vision.

Media & Academic Technology Services

Serves students, faculty and staff through the provision of media technology, equipment and support to improve learning outcomes, provide effective communication, and to continue to investigate and promote programs that solidify the strategic initiatives of the Webster global community in its classrooms, meeting spaces and events.

Information Technology Support Services

Seeks to provide superior learning experiences for students by providing knowledgeable, responsive, integrated, and creative solutions to University technology needs; enhance the productivity of the Webster community and to empower its constituents by making information technology available.

Administrative and Procurement Services

Provides value-added services including the procurement of computers, hardware, software and other services necessary to support the University.  This includes timely and accurate expenditure of University funds and recording of those expenditures.

Enterprise Architecture Technology & Network/Infrastructure Operations

Directs and recommends  along with management of Network Operations for the University's I/T infrastructure - including hardware, operating systems, networks, databases, and infrastructure services, as well as components, data, and the development tools.

Enterprise Information Systems

Provides planning, implementation, maintenance and support services for Webster's administrative systems, ranging from small departmental applications to mission-critical enterprise systems. Responsibilities include database administration, system integration, programming, system design and ongoing maintenance and support.

Project Management Office

Helps enable the University to deliver project-based work that fosters the realization of Webster University strategic goals and educational vision. Primary responsibilities are to scope and assess project requests for University prioritization, manage delivery of assigned projects on schedule, within scope and budget.
