Global Inclusion & Diversity Summit

The Global Inclusion & Diversity Summit is a full day of engagement opportunities is scheduled to explore inclusiveness and diversity at Webster and the world around us. All Webster students, faculty and staff are welcome and encouraged to attend any of the day's sessions and events. The summit is the outcome of engagement among the faculty and staff leadership group on the topic of diversity, as well as discussions with Webster students via the Delegates' Agenda about their highest priorities on the St. Louis campus.

Global Leaders in Residence

The Global Leaders in Residence program extends the University's long-standing commitment to partnerships around the world. Since its inception in 2012, Webster University has hosted distinguished individuals who are considered thought leaders in their fields from across a wide spectrum of disciplines.

While in residence, each of the Global Leaders will interact with students to assist in real world learning by connecting theory to practice. Leaders will share their unique perspectives based upon their experiences in forums that are free and open to all students, faculty and the general public.

Global Leadership Academy

Webster's Global Leadership Academy (GLA) is a leadership development program open to the faculty and staff of the University's global community. Sixteen GLA fellows are selected each year to participate in a series of workshop and activities that help them to lead successfully in their roles and positions within the university. The primary mission of the GLA is to invest in the people of Webster University so that they may lead from where they are.

The fellows of the GLA divide responsibilities for facilitating workshops with internal and external subject matter experts, along with previous GLA fellows.

Student Ambassadors

The Webster University Student Ambassadors serve as the official student representatives for Webster University's President's Office and Office of Alumni and Development Programs. The Student Ambassadors work with collegiate and administrative offices to greet and converse with constituents, government officials, donors, and other dignitaries during University sponsored educational and social events.

This organization showcases the quality and diversity of the student body, promotes pride, and communicates understanding of the university.

Sustainability Conference

The Sustainability Conference brings together academia, businesses, community leaders, and organizations to share in dialogue and achieve a greater understanding of how we collaborate on sustainability challenges for our common future.
