Center for Portfolio Development & Internships

Center for Portfolio Development & Interships logoThe Center at a Glance

Students need and want internships.

Organizations need and want interns.

That's where we come in. Through professional, one-on-one attention and coaching, the Center for Portfolio Development & Internships promotes comprehensive, experiential learning. Internships give students the opportunity to set and meet their own learning goals and apply their classroom knowledge in a professional working environment while earning internship credit. Internships also provide opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The Center also works to develop and build supportive, hands-on intern partnerships. We actually like to think of those partnerships as  relationships. Students from all 16 School of Communications majors and our host organizations (which span not only the St. Louis metropolitan area, but nationally and globally as well) forge long-lasting, far-reaching connections. These connections mutually benefit our students, host organizations, and alumni.
