Office of Military Affairs

General Mike Callan (Ret)

A welcome from Brig. Gen. Mike Callan, USAF (Ret.), Webster University Associate Vice President for Military and Governmental Programs

Our mission is to provide unmatched educational programs and unparalleled service to our military.

Welcome to the Webster University Office of Military Affairs (OMA), committed to the continuing education needs of our military. As a career Air Force officer with 30 years experience, I am honored to be a part of Webster University and provide support to our military students.

The OMA’s mission is to provide Webster’s military students with access to the global Webster University network through a “single touch point.” Essentially, we’re responsible for military operations with the University, and can assist military students in multiple areas, including financial aid, academic advising, academic testing, transfer credit (including our 35+ Cooperative Degree programs), grants and proposals, military alumni and military student life activities (tutoring, writing assistance, accommodation assistance).

I invite you to look around the military portion of the website and then visit us in person. Each of our campus locations has programs designed to help you succeed—whether it’s continuing in your military career, or preparing you for civilian life.

About the Office of Military Affairs

Webster University is one of the largest providers of graduate-level military education in the U.S., with more than 6,600 of Webster’s 22,000 students having a military connection. Located at the home campus in St. Louis, the Office of Military Affairs (OMA) serves military-connected students across the Webster University network, under the leadership of Brig. Gen.
