The Community Music School of Webster University (CMS) has offered outstanding music education and performance opportunities to students of all ages and abilities in the St. Louis area and beyond since its founding in 1925.
Our music faculty include world-class performers who are also master teachers. The entire St. Louis metropolitan region is served with multiple locations, including the headquarters and concert hall located on the Webster University campus in historic Webster Groves.

CMS and Webster University students and parents are invited and encouraged to attend a session at the CMS Center presented by the health care professionals of the Washington University Medical Program for Performing Artists.

Entry Deadline: October 24, 2014
Open to student composers, ages 12-21, in two age categories: Level I for students ages 12-16, and Level II for students ages 17-21.
COMPOSITION INSTRUMENTATION GUIDELINES: Compositions may use a combination of 2-7 musicians on any of the following instruments: 2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello, 1 double bass, 1 piano, 1 percussionist. See guidelines and entry form for more details.
